Used Extruders for Sale
Used Plastic Extruders are utilized in high-volume manufacturing processes where raw plastic material is melted to produce items such as pipes, tubing, weather stripping, fencing, window frames, plastic wrap, shrink wrap, wire insulation, and more.
The process is achieved by feeding plastic materials (pellets, granules, flakes, or powders) from a hopper into the extruder barrel. The material is then gradually melted down and forced into a die, where it forms, cools, and hardens into the desired shape.
Configurations of extruders include sheet/film extrusion, blow extrusion of plastic film, compound extrusion for pelletizing, overjacketing extrusion, and profile extrusion.
